Let me start with a warning, by the time you are done reading this article, you will be superly confused about which cell phone to buy!
Mobile phones are now not just an integral part of society, they are an important part of individuals too. Before the simple cordless or cellular phone turned into the smartphone, people would rely on reading facial expression or on word of mouth to find out about a person. Now all you need to do is go through a person’s phone to find out the type of person they are; they playlist the search engine history, the gallery, the text messages, and even the wallpaper and screensaver tell you everything from likes and dislikes to deep dark secrets. This is why choosing a phone is very important, the specks and features help you tremendously in your daily life.
Several studies have shown that approximately 96 percent of people check their phone as soon as they get up, even before brushing their teeth or washing their faces. Several studies have also drawn a conclusion that the last thing 96 percent of people see at night, is their phone! This just shows how phones have become a crucial part of human life.
With technology evolving so rapidly, every new phone comes with the anticipation of buying ‘the next big’ release. So here is a list of smartphones that will definitely dominate this fast-paced market for a long time.
Apple iPhone XR:
So some may wonder, why a downgrade when you have the new iPhone XS models? The answer is simple, it has the same core power as XS also has the desirable A12 Bionic chip, but comes in an aluminum body! Plus it has the most advanced LCD. The display as already stated is LCD, not OLED but has a super creative backlight feature that lets the screen stretch across all four corners. So the images are crystal clear, vivid and ‘true to life’. So you have this huge, yet light screen which is definitely going to help you take amazing selfies. Also, it is much more economical and affordable when compared to iPhone XS even though most of the features are similar. So if you want the latest iPhone, but don’t want to splurge, iPhone XR will be perfect for you.
Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro
I have used Mate 10 pro, and honestly, it is my favorite phone. So speaking from personal experience, it was user-friendly, lightweight and had great specs. Which is why I have lots of expectations from Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. Coming down to the specifications, the premium design of the Mate series will continue, there are high chances that a major feature will be added- waterproofing! The Ram will range from 8GB to 512GB and the chipset will be the superfast HiSilicon Kirin 980. Both sets have Octa-core and the battery range is 4000 mAh and 4200 mAh, respectively. Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will both accommodate two sims, nano sims of course.
LG V40 ThinQ
Slim design with the superior glass finish, at triple back camera system and a wonderfully large display. The best thing about this set is that it will have 5 cameras, 3 on the back and two on the front. The three back cameras have different lenses- super wide angle, telephoto and of course a standard lens. The variety of lenses will help you take amazing photographs, gorgeous sceneries to poetic portraits.
A multi-camera phone with global HMD settings is what Nokia 9 is all about. It is to be launched on the 4th of October, 2018. It will have 5 cameras, a notched display front and it will be adorned with the latest Qualcomm hardware at its core.
Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+
Samsung kept a low profile in 2018 but plans to blow everyone’s mind in 2019 with the launch of Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+. It is expected to launch by March 2018. It is said to have display finger scanners and sensors, it will have multiple cameras (most probably 5) and will have the capability to support the new generation 5g technology (at least it will have a 5g variant). Samsung is known for its sleek and classy design, this is expected from this set too.
Oppo Find X
Oppo Find X is adorned with gorilla glass on both sides, making it durable. It has a 6.4-inch screen and is super slim and sleek. The design is black but has red or blue designs on the edges to enhance its classy look. It comes with tight security features too, like #D face mapping, to help unlock your phone. The operating software is Android 8.1 (Oreo), the Chipset is Qualcomm and the processing unit is Octa-core. It will be equipped with the main sensors like Face ID and recognition, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
